Do I need to book in advance?

Early bookings are recommended, especially during peak seasons. You can book an e-bike through our website, by phone, or by visiting our shop.
What is the minimum age requirement for hiring an e-bike?

Riders must be at least 16 years old to hire an e-bike from Alyth Cyclery. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Do I need to bring my own helmet and lock?

Helmets and locks are provided with every e-bike rental at no additional cost. You are welcome to bring your own if preferred.
Do I need to bring ID to hire an E-bike?

Yes, a valid ID (passport, driver’s license, or national ID card) is required when renting an e-bike.
What happens if I return my hire bike late?

If you return your hire bike late, you will be charged £25 for each day the bike is overdue.
